Default Quick Release Steering wheels..

Quick Release Steering wheels..

After doin some searching around the forum - it seems like NRG is the choice to go with for the quick release hub/steering wheels...they seem kinda up there on the price compared to otha ones ive seen...is it really worth the price difference...ive seen a good amount on ebay for around the $70 shipped range...?...

also, is this as good as a security measure as i think it is or have thieves found a good way around this too??

yes I have an NRG short hub and an NRG quick release 2.5 with a Momo tuner wheel. Its a great combo and has no play and is the perfect length and everything
When I leave my car in places I dont really feel safe I just take the wheel with me and pop out the ecu hah. Some people use nrg's lock that goes over the quick release also for added protection. Just to let you know if you have a 4th gen prelude and get the short hub DO NOT get the one thats for the prelude and s2000 because it wont fit. Im pretty sure I ended up getting the one for the ek...i think. I can check if you'de like

*edit*
Dont cheap out on steering stuff...if it fails you could die

I have the NRG Ver.2(I think) QR in carbon fiber/black and I love it. I had an eBay QR before...needless to say it was garbage compared to the NRG piece. I would like to say it's a good security measure but without the hub lock...no. A theive could just have a wheel of their own to slap onto your QR.

Ok sooo I couldn't find the box for the hub but I went out to the car and on the inside of the hub it said 110. I went onto NRG's site and this was the part number
SRK-110H Short Hub EG6 Civic / Integra I ordered everything from my local speed shop and iirc I payed like $120 for the hub $150 for the quick release and $250 for the wheel

would i be able to use a different brand wheel with the hub and quick release?

and i would need the locking plate for that added security too right?
