Quick Question...Please Help

last night while drivin my 5th gen...in third gear, cruisin along started to putter and not accelerate smoothly. Could this be time to replace the fuel filter....bad gas...or fuel pump...? thanks

Try replacing all the above and see? Thats really not enough info to go on.
