Default quick question

I just turned 30 and finally saved up the money to finish the work on my 01 prelude. After long days spent in auto-tech school and countless hours working to save up enough money im just about done with her. I do have a few questions

Mods:
Ported/Polished all intake and exhaust ports
5 cut Valve Job
forged type s pistons
forged connecting rods
h23 crank(grinded evenly to reduce weight) faster acceleration
crower stage 2 cams with valves/valvetrain/sprockets
all light weight forged alluminum bolts
all light weight pulleys AEM and UR
Greddy evo 2 exhaust with custom test pipe
Hitech header from john
aem v2 intake with k/n airfilter and custom velocity stack
msd ignition
msd wires
ngk plugs

problem number 1....Im running a stock intake mani and stock TB.....any suggestions for upgrading or has anyone ported/polished this unit?

Problem number 2....The car is wayyy to heavy and I really want to keeep the interior nice i mean no taking out carpet...i havent touched the interior completley stock...Ive lightened the motor/exhaust....any ideas i have only 500 for lightweight seats i want to get what company sells insanly lightweight seats?

Hondata seems to be the popular thing around here. I'm going with aem, but I'm doing a little more than you are.

your going with aem because your throwing a turbo on?? ....would my setup benefit more from aem? I veered from going turbo because ive been rebuilding engines for a long time and really wanted to do it to my own...i was actually looking at jrsc but not sure if its compatable with the type s pistons?

your problem number 1 --- go to roskoracing.com im pretty sure he port/polishes his intake manifold. he sells the euroR manifolds for 500 but he customizes them to fit h22's. just read the website and the euroR is like the skunk2s if not better.

well im not an expert but i would guess that the bigger the better (if it fits right) bigger= more airflow=faster

If you want to drop weight and keep your interior then get carbon fiber/fiber glass panels, fendors, hood, etc. <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by 2.3Preludevtec &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">skunk 2 makes many different size from 60-70mm...which is best for my setup? im thinking 70mm....also DOES ANYONE HAVE LIGHT WEIGHT SEATS FOR SALE?

No always, if you go to big with a NA engine you will loose intake air velocity and loose HP.

OMG you waited 20 minutes, bahaha.

MemoryFab makes excellent seats, but you may not find them for $500.

I would loose the MSD ignition, I have personally had 2 boxes randomly die out and leave me stranded...they don't do anything anyway. NGK plugs and wires is the way to go.

70mm is a good TB size and have some patience!!

Uhh...nope. Bigger airflow path means more air (if the engine even needs it) at higher rpms, but lower velocity at low rpms which hurts power. Hence the stock 2-stage intake manifold.

there arent any valves to change

no.

to the op:
type S pistons are not forged, they are cast.
go with a 3" exhaust
there are better cams for the time and money spent
