Ok, I never even thought about running synthetic oil in my old '95 Lude with 189k miles. Well my new '94 Lude only has about 92k...you guys think it would be alright to run Mobil 1 Synthetic 10W-30 in it? I believe it will be ok...just wanna check with the pros.

expletive the Honda dealership. I only deal with them if I have to. Reason I'm asking all the Luders on Honda-Tech is because most of them probably run some sort of synthetic.

If the motor is in good condition you'll be fine. Since synthetic oil contain cleaning detergents it might loosen some build up thats keeping some seals from leaking. Youll most likely be fine.
You should be fine, I started using Redline in my H22 with a little less miles on it than you have with no problems. If you really wanted to call a dealership just ask to speak with a tech and usually they will give advice without taking your car in.
I have had numerous times where I was having problems removing a part or needed advice on replacing something and gave them a call and got advice. But maybe the head tech at my dealership is willing to help.

**** redline. I ran it for 500 miles, drained it, and never looked back.
And whoever said H-T was 90% 16 year old ricers... was 100% correct. I read through some of these answers in this "tech" forum now, and it truly scares me.

You can run Mobil 1. If you don't drive hard, it isn't mandatory...but it is cheap insurance because it is better for the motor.
I use Mobil 1 sometimes, and sometimes I use Honda Genuine. Depends on what the car will be doing.

10w30 mobil1 synthetic green cap is "A" ok. I use it along with a mobil1 filter.
I used to use 5w30 mobil1 blue cap but I revv the **** out of the car sometimes and it burns a lot of oil so I switched over to the green cap.
