Quick heater question.
Can someone please tell me how to manually open the valve on the heater core so I can get some heat in my car? I'm hoping this will work, because I don't want to buy a new heater core or something. Help me out guys, it is getting cold! Thanks guys.

Just push/pull the cable to get the heater where you want it. I've had the little plastic thing come off before.

Bingo, I went out in the dark and finally found it. I looked in my cheap *** Chiltons and it gave me a crapy picture of what it looked like and told me to look on the firewall.
I should have checked this post before wasting my time. Thanks, I now have heat! Prolink you know your ludes.
And thanks everyone else for the imput.
