Pretty much like the title says. It was ABS code 53 if that makes a difference.

the ABS - your sensor is just messed up - Anti Lock Brake System....just go get the brakes check out i guess - when it happened to me, my sensor was just gone. Hope it helps.

 

On my helms rom I just went to the abs section. Code 53 was abs pump motor or relay stuck on. I'm not sure the steps to troubleshoot it but when I had the problem I just bought a new abs relay for inside the under the hood fusebox. I think my relay must have been bad because the code never came back. Don't know if you'd be as lucky but I'd like to know if it solves it for you to.

When i pulled my CEL mutliple times, the ABS AND ATTS lights always gave a code as well. I think its just a precautionary thing

 

You might want to also unplug all the connectors to the abs modulator pump and clean them with contact or connector spray. I did this but I also bought a new relay at the same time. Whatever I did fixed it. It shut my atts light off also, maybe just a fail safe. Let us know how things work out!
