Please do not respond if you have nothing relevant to say.

Anyways. You'll need to take apart your climate control unit and re-solder the solder points on the circuit board. Over time, they'll begin to crack and cause the unit to work randomly, or just plain not work at all. There is a right up that is stickied on how to remove the control unit on 92lude.com in the interior forum.

Good luck.

my problem is my a/c switch. if the light isnt on, the a/c light isnt lit up, it blows hot hair. i have to bang it a bit and it turns on but then turns off on the next bump

my prelude also*** always having trouble with the climate. pisses me off. it's definitely the switches... like stated above - i'm going to try the solder. the buttons all messed up... sometimes when i bang it, it will stay on for awhile. i also found that pulling your stereo out, and holding the wires back, you can get it to stay on long enoguh.. i think the stereos pull the wires out of place over time..

my mechanic who is a honda specialist says thats a big problem with the ac in ludes, he wants me 2 get a new switch from honda or find one in a junkyard, new from honda is 700 but thats the whole climate control. we need 2 see if we can bypass or repair this. i have to bang on it alot for it to stay on and when i do it last like 3 mins. when i press on the rear defrost it stays on, i stuck a penny in it and it stayed on but not very long
