Problem with sleeving h22
I've got Darton flanged sleeves (300-018 partnumber) and JDM closed deck H22. Our locals don't know how to fit these sleeves because of the flanges. Thew say sleeve should almost touch each other with their walls but flanges are even wider and will not let the sleeves go in. Does anyone have installation manual or at least can anyone explain in details how to fit these sleeves?

Go to a different machine shop or you're gonna be out one H22 block....they should be pressed in. If they don't know that........I wouldn't want to have to tell a machine shop how to do their job. And then pay them! Find a different shop.
No, you did not understand. The thing is that flanges interfere with each other. Seems like the flanges should be cut on the sides where sleeves come close to each other, the same way MID sleeves are factory-cutted.
i think i'll make a call next night. we've got about 12 hours difference in time.
i think the most logical would be to cut the space for flange on 1-st cylinder, sleeve it, only after that cut the space on second cylinder, that would take out part of flange on the first cylinder and let the socond sleeve go in. same way third and forth.
