problem with 5th gen and rain

Default problem with 5th gen and rain

when it rains, the driver side has this wierd water noise,it sounds as if water is inside the car,but its not, 2nd when it rains, is watter suppose to drop into the upper engine bay, near the rain gaurd?i see some water near the rain tray.. not sure if thats normal, my other friends car has the same issue.. any help would ge great. thanks

For your first problem, you're probably gonna need to give some more details, but the second one really isn't a problem. Your engine bay is in no way water tight so having water get in when it is raining is all right. With that said, there are many electrical components that will not be happy when soaked so if the water is getting in in massive amounts, you might want to look at the seals going around the hood for some leakage.
