what is a prelude ss i have never herd of an ss honda pleqas help i got a head ach trying to figure it out

 

97 - 01 preludes with an auto tranny, it stands for sequential shift, as in no clutch one, two, three, four in sequence when you shift your shift **** to that setting.

I call it, the sporstshit shift.

The tranny is bad, gears are sucky, the parts are cheap and honda didn't spend time and money on these, if not, check out the problems with the acura tl's, they all have the same problem

god it never fails. How about theres like 15% failure rate. The ones that are good like mine and atleast 20 others ive talked to all have 40+k of hard driving some na, some fi, Dont get me wrong its not as fast, but the majority is not unreliable. Id say theres close to the same % of problems with some peoples five speeds, Ive been 50k miles with lil mant. nothing replaced/ I still say everyone should either get a lsd h22 5 speed or euro-r etc.
