Ride : 95 S BA8 with a few mods....

History

Originally equipped with a F22A and slushbox, the car has been treated to a JDM H22A with a M2B4 LSD conversion.

Propulsion

Internally the H22A is stock but has been thoroughly refreshed.

Breathing life into the engine is dutifully performed by a JDM Type S intake. Expelling the exhaust is an Xforce S10 Twinloop.
Getting the power to the wheels is a lightweight 8lb Cromoly Flywheel and Daikin Exceedy Clutch taking the honours.

Spark is obtained using NGK 8mm leads and NGK ZFR11a's. Oil cleanliness is provided by an OEM Toyo Roki filter, filled through a polished Mugen oil cap.

Ensuring timing stays in check is a H23A manual timing belt tensioner, converted for peace of mind. Radiator is topped off with a Mugen cap adding an little bit of class. A Fluidyne aluminium radiator is to be added shortly.

Whilst the engine was out of the car, it received a full detail incliding manifold, head, block and accesories, giving it a Type S look.

Rims and Tires

Rolling on custom powder coated 17" x 7.5 Rota Formules, shod with Bridgestone Potenza GIII tires providing the grip.

Resistance

Upgrading from the stock rotor size came in the form of OEM VTiR Calipers and 282mm rotors, with added bling in the form of red colour coded brake calipers with custom "Honda" stencilling in white.

Stance

Koni Yellow/Eibach combination.
Spoon Strut Brace Front and Rear

Body - Outside

Treated to a baremetal respray in PPG 2K Maserati Mediterraneo Blue Pearl, custom touches that require the keen eye to spot are there.

JDM accessories abound in and around the car, most notably:

Genuine Mugen front bumper and headlight covers.
Customised Genuine Mugen Accord Side Skirts.
BB6 glass sunroof.
JDM Mitsuba Alpha II twin horns for pedestrian warning.
JDM Window Deflectors.
Custom cleared tail lghts.
Shaved bonnet with Custom washer jet relocation to wiper arms.
Clear/amber Stanley indicator set and side repeaters.
Custom brushed aluminium kick plates with Prelude logo's.
Chrome Rear Garnish strip with engraved Mugen logo
Shaved bootlid, with BB6 Prelude Lettering
JDM Black one piece headlights.
JDM Power Folding Mirrors.
Shaved Arial with Rear demister circuit arial and Frequency shifter so JDM radio works on our frequency

Body - Inside

The car is currently loving its accessories :

JDM Climate control swap
JDM Honda Access Air Refiner
JDM Gathers Double DIN Minidisc/CD/Radio/Tape unit and Pioneer 6" 3 Way Splits Speaker Set
JDM Emergency Flare and Bracket
JDM Prelude Floor Mats
JDM Honda Fit Map Lights
JDM Leather Interior with electric seats
OEM S2000 Start Button
Mugen Sports Pedal Kit
JDM DC2 Integra gearknob
Momo OEM JDM steering wheel

Future modifications are a custom quad throttle setup, Hondata S300 ECU and upgrading of valve train and strengthened internals. This will then be topped of with some custom headers, possibly RMF or SMSP and then the car will be finished, maybe!

Future plans if the car is still around, will be a complete interior retrim and upgrading of instrumentation.

[QUOTE=shutta]I talked for a minute with precisionH23a about this and he seemed ok with the idea but hasn't gotten back to me so I figured i'd give this a try, he can take this thread down if he thinks we shouldn't have it up yet.

Post a maximum of 2 pictures of your car , your info/car info, list a brief history of the car if you want, current modifications, and future plans

DO NOT PUT ANY, absolutely ANY responses about ANY cars in this thread, PM THE OWNER!!! this isn't going to turn into the prelude pictures thread where there are more replies than pictures. IF YOU CAR CHANGES, MODIFY YOUR ORIGIONAL POST!

THIS LIST OF RULES WILL BE QUOTED ON EVERY NEW PAGE OF THIS THREAD SO NOBODY HAS EXCUSES THAT THEY DIDN'T READ THE RULES.

Car: 95 Prelude Si

History: I bought this car myself when I was in college for computer animation and I did not know ANYTHING about cars at the time. I was so proud of it and I had stupid ricer mods like altezza lights and a crappy muffler. It got me through school and after I blew the engine I realized I needed to stop being an idiot at the street races and I found Honda-tech. From then it was research and buy good stuff for it to ultimately have nice turbo & suspension setup. I love my Prelude and hope to have it forever.

My car currently has a really crappy ghetto paint job that I actually don't mind because I don't have to worry about it, hehe. It also needs some body work, but hopefully it lowers people's expectations when they first see the car.

After have a couple other cars and having one stolen, I was determined to find a newer Lude. so driving around in my rental car one day i spotted it at a dealer, stopped and to my suprise it was only $3000 with 50,000 original miles. couldnt believe it, so naturally i bought it but got it for 2800 cash. So to make a long story short just been builing and loving it.
