Default Plugs too cold?

I have question that I am hoping is dumb, I just want some other peoples ideas for verification.

For nitrous use, I put in some colder plugs, and turned my timing back 4-6 degrees.

If left like this and driven for awhile, are the plugs too cold to get a good burn, causing fouling and mis-fires? I left the car and drove around, and one day the car just had minor hesitation, but the next day, while sitting in traffic, the hesitation got worse, and the car wanted to die when idling. I had to keep the revs up at 2000+ manually, which was a pain.

I haven't driven the car since, as I was too busy to mess with it, but I am hoping putting the normal plugs back in and advancing the timing should fix my issue.

What temp plug did you have in for nitrous and are you just taking out 4-6 degrees across the whole ignition table?

I noticed that my car ran like **** when I was using 2 step colder plugs for Nitrous, when NOT using nitrous. I was using 1 step colder with -4* and 2 step colder with -3*.
Timing was controlled by MSD dig6+.
I decided to only run the 2 step colder when I was having dedicated Nitrous runs at the strip. On the street I just used 1 step colder and retarded 1* more......

Well, left the plugs, and turned the timing back up, and the car ran fine, so I will just back it off at the track, and turn it back up for street driving. Just running 1 step colder plugs, probably a good idea on my engine anyways.
