Default pls help!!

hello people, ok heres what happen i was getting on the freeway on ramp and i think i over rev'ed my first gear. but the car didnt throw any cel so i just kept on driving and the car behaved normally. but when i got home turned of the car, got ready to go to work. and then started the car back up to warm it up the car started normally and idled normally. but when the rpm went down to normal idle (which is 750 on my car), it started to misfire so i shut of the car borrowed my brothers car and went to work. and when i got home started the car i warmed it up and when it went down to normal idling it started to misfire again. please help i dont know whats wrong with it.

Did you just keep it in 1st gear and forget to shift? OR did u jam it into 1st going more than ~30ish mph?

Is it making any kind of knock/clunking noise while its doing this?

If it isn't clunking or knocking, I'd check the timing belt, and make sure everything is still lined up. Its possible that the timing belt MAY have jumped teeth on the cam gears.

How many miles are on the car?
When was the last time the timing belt was changed?
