PLEASE HELP ME- i'm stranded
I have an h23, 93 prelude that won't start. When i check the ECU fault code i get a light that stays on permanently, so does this mean i have a code0? The fault code light does not stay on when you try to start the engine. Any help anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated as I need this car to get me to work.
So you jumped the ECU because the car won't start?
I thought you only check for the code when you get a CEL.
Did you try jump starting the car? Does the engine even turn? It could be anything, we need more details.

Yes the car turns over, all the plugs are fine and producing plenty of spark. The fuel pump is kicking out plenty of pressure and the injectors are injecting. Oh wait, I just heard an engine noise outside. The car just started, which is a bit of a mystery, its been dead for 3 days. Thanks anyway
Car seems to be running fine now, if anything it sounds a little better (probably my imagination/relief), ECU still gives out a continuous light as its fault code (go figure). If anyone else has the same problem don't ask me how we fixed it, we've taken just about everything off and re-atached it.
P.S we didn't reset the ECU, we were just about to when it started again

Uhmmm... code 0 = faulty ECU. Are you in limp home mode, with the rev limit at ~3200rpm? Because that generally indicated a fried ECU or improperly inserted chip.
If not, then I suppose it could be a bad ground or loose pin on the ECU connectors?
