Oxygen sensor light cel! Bogging
Hi, i've been experiencing some low level rpm bogs. I checked my Cels though the paperclip trick and came up with code 1. I ordered a cheap replacement oxygen sensor from ebay and replaced it. Still got code 1. So I just suck it up and paid 62.99 for one from autozone(bosche). Sure enough engine code is back. The light comes on after about 10-30 minutes of driving and only when the cars warm. I re wired it myself and checked the colors 3x. The car is a bb2 Honda prelude 1992 si with a H22a jdm swam. P13 usdm ecu. I just recently swapped out an h22a4 out of the car because of burning oil. Thanks in advance. Any input would be appreciated on the bogging and sensor.
Also I just did a full tune up: Spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter.

Do you have a cat?
IF SO, delete the cat. Your problem is that it's clogged, that's whats causing the sensor problem.
Return the oxygen sensor from autozone if you can, use that money to get a test pipe.

yes, I do have a cat. I would need to replace the entire pipe. I cant replace the sensor; i has to splice on the male connector in order for it to work. I purchased a h22a4 oxygen sensor rather then a h23 one because of the engine swap. Clogged Cat is causing the bogging and oxygen sensor code even with obd1?

The cat is not clogged, if it were the car would be nearly undrivable as no matter the RPM the exhaust gasses would choke the engine and you'd smell burning as well as seeing everything between the exhaust manifold and cat glow red hot.
Your problem is that you aren't checking anything before buying random parts and cheap O2 sensors are the biggest waste of money since they almost never get rid of code 1.

Everything from the sensor back to the ECU, wiring problem isn't very common but a problem with the ECU is more so but the most common problem is non-Honda sensors. My friend tried using Bosch O2 sensors in his old Integra. Swapped for new ones 3 times at Advance before he finally bought a Honda one before the code went away.
Hey everyone, I solved my problem. It was due to a fault ecu. Car ran and idled like ****, plugged in a chipped h22 basemapped p28. Problem solved :D
