overheating issue
hey guys, does anyone knows why my car wants to overheat climbing uphill? and when i make a sharp left curve, the temp come back down. normal driving is ok. i've flushed the system really good, change thermostat and i'm not using antifreeze. thks much!
u should use antifreeze, although it won't move the heat away from your motor like water will, it lubes the pump, with out it you killin your pump!
Honda designed the coolant system to run 50/50 water & antifreeze. Straight water causes corrosion, freezing, and premature boiling. Are you sure the car is overheating and it's not just the temp gauge acting up?
i think my gauge is fine. before the temp goes up, the check engine light comes on. when i am driving flat land , its fine. damp, i better put some coolant in there. thks.
