Default Over heating exhaust problem

ok i bagged my car kinda bad the other night and the temperture gauge went to 3 quarters high and my car sounded like **** 88 prelude si by the way but i think its my exaust i see the exaust smoke comin from the catalytic converter the end of and i think i made a seal leak from it becasue of it over heating what do u guys think like it sounds liek theres a hole i nteh exaust but there isnt and the smoke is comin from my catalytic converter..need help
