One quick question...
I wanna know what the difference between SH and base model preludes years 98-01. My boy just bought a SH lude and the head took a crap. We're having trouble finding an "SH" cylinder head and most speed shops dont know the difference either. They just say "IDK but we know they're different". Some helpfull feedback would be nice....
as far as i know or can remember they are both h22a4 and the main difference was with suspension, the active torque transfer (atts) and sharper front fascia...
sorry, i never heard that the engine head was any different

Thanks for the quick feedback. Yea, thats what we're worried about cus a couple of shops say they have 4th gen h22 heads but not 5th gen. Thats what threw us off. So basically theres no difference right?
i have a BASE and my friend has an SH and as far he knew both of ours which are 98's are rated at the same horsepower and are h22a4
however, 99 and up are factory rated at i think like 200 while 98 and under are rated at like 195 but i think that probably has something to do with internals
not exactly sure

x2 The quick answer is that if you're just replacing the head, one from any 97-01 model (H22a4) will work. However, if I'm not mistaken, the head from the H22a1 (92-96) is different and doesn't flow as well.
