Yea, I just recently refurbished a garage for me to use this winter for storage/workshop. My mother asked why I wanted a dead bolt on the door...and a simple cheap security alarm....and maybe like a "survelience" sticker...
She said "I park my mercedes SLK55 AMG in their unlocked all winter...and you're worried about your rusted money-pit?"
I said..."sadly, I could see getting broke into for my car honestly before yours in our neighborhood..."
kinda hard to boost infared benz's, but easy to yank out my hondata s300.....
....parents.......*sigh*
anyways, i feel for your loss, I wish some people actually could earn what they have instead of steal it, fckn dousche bags.

Yeah I know But every little bit helps after you get your car Jack and it never resurfaces again. I think its like 20 percent of all stolen cars never show up again, while the other 70 come back damaged and missing parts, and the last 10 percent are returned fine. It is sad, honda is amomgst the most stolen cars in America.
I wonder there is addition insurance you can get for adding all the little extras into your honda, right?
Like if you invest 20 grand into it, there should be an insurance policy to cover all those upgrades, right?
Anyone knows anything on that? It be a big help.

You won't get insurance on anything bolted into your car. Unsecured sub boxes and stuff like that, if stolen, are not covered.
If someone stole your engine or wheels or something like that, it would be covered. You will have to produce receipts and proof that they're worth x amount of dollars.

actually they have insurance that will cover dollar amounts of additional "modifications" added to you vehicle. When i was pricing out my quotes they told me about it. id havta find the paperwork for the official name they used. but I added on like $10,000 worth of additional parts coverage.
I imagine that walking into the insurance place and telling them that your car has $10-20k in mods is prolly gonna raise a flag or two lol. a friend of mine had his coverage dropped when they found out he had swapped a V6 out for a V8 in his el camino and didn't tell them about it.
I actually called my insurance company last night and bought the addition parts coverage. They said that anything over 5 Grand, they need an actual price of what the car is worth. You also need to take pictures and keep recipts of all the mods you have done to your car
Man....Im glad my beast is parked in a garage. I never park it more than viewing distance away when I leave it.....
I thought Preludes were less desirable to steal.....not to be rude, but why would they want a Prelude?

Who knows..Ar thieves are bunch of losers if u ask me. Thinking the world owes them something, but what ges around comes around. So they will get there one day. Like when they steal some drug lords car. They gonna wake up six feet under. Wah hah
Yeah and this theif probally sitd in forums like these and waits for some poor guy to start bragging about how great his car is and what after market parts hes rocking and all about his alarm systems. Stuf like this is lesson to be learned, not just for the victim here but for everyone. Be careful in these boards, you never know who your really talking to.
haha yea i guess.... nothing is going to stop a true thief, only slow them down long enough for me to get outta my bed and meet them at the car with a bat.... haha
Your picture of the car was taken in June 2005. What else have you done to it since then ?
The reason I ask is because it is almost impossible for someone to consider stealing a stock h23 prelude when they have Gsr's every where around them, knowing that it's parts are more in demand by more individuals.
