Default is it ok to do this this?

i bought a brand new ACT street disc, but i have a used ACT heavy duty pressure plate. do i need to resurface the pressure plate or i can just slap it on without resurface the pressure plate?

i know i got to resurface the flywheel but where do u go to resurface pressure plate?

I did the reverse, i put on a used disc on a brand new act plate. No problems. How many miles on the plate?

why not just buy a new pressure plate? I know they sell them individually

If there are no heat spots or cracks, you can re-use the pressure plate. But it doesn't hurt to get a new one since you're in there.
