Default Oil Pump Difference

What is the difference in oil pumps from 92-96 H22's and 97-2001 H22's?

Price for the 92-96 H22's are more expensive too?

Any ideas?

OBD I vs. OBD II

sensors in the OBD II pump that are in the distributor for the OBD I pump.
distributors are different too.

nope. unless you can find a way to plug the holes in the OBD II pump. and ensure that the sensors you need are going to come from the distributor. and even then, i've found that the signal sent by each set of sensors is just slightly different. still within the correct paramenters, just not quite so spot on, so i'm not sure how it will work for you.

yes it will work, I have a similar setup an a '94 hatch, disconnect the OBDII sensors and buy a OBDI distributor and connect the wires that normally went to the pump side and connect them to their correct sensor in the distributor

you just leave the obdii pump and sensor on there...ignore it.

and it was 92-95 that had th obdi oil pump and 96-01 that had the obdii one.
