can anyone tell me how to check my o2 sensor with an ohm meter?

 

Back probe into the connector and check for voltage when the car is all warmed up (run about 10 mins at idle) you should get about .5 volts at idle....and it will move around.....to check if it's very accurate, pull a vacuume hose off the manifold and see what happens(it should lean out)....Off the top of my hungover head I don't remember if it's supposed to go up or down....but it should change......and if you want to get it to test rich....get a botle of propane and slowly bleed some into the intake (don't do this if you are scared.....but it's perfectly safe) (it will richen the mixture up) this should send your O2S voltage the other direction....hope this helps...and hope it makes sense......I'll check it again when my headache goes away

 

If it's a 93 VTEC, it should have a heated O2 sensor. Which means that you wouldn't have to wait 10 minutes. You should be able to get a reading almost instantly.

what do you mean by back probe?

 

can I just get a wire and crimp it onto the white wire on the o2 sensor anc check it like that(cuz its like under the car). and also, where do I put the negative probe? any ground ok?
