I dont know that much, But i thought it just senses air/fuel, like...if its broke, you're car will defaultly waste alot of gas because it can't determine how much your car needs?

nothing bad will happen, except for your mpg will go through the floor......Go to sparkplugs.com and get an OE Denso primary o2 sensor for 40 bucks.

h22blackhatch -
I have 1992 prelude with h22a swap, that OE densor sensor will be good for me?

*MINE IS ALSO BROKE LOL*

Whats the difference between:
- Denso OE identical O2 sensor $80+
- Denso Uninversal 02 sensor $45

One is OEM direct replacement and one is just a universal...I'd go with oe just to be safe

Hey I have same situation, I had code for 02 so I replaced it
my 02 is new, (denso) from autozone, I have catback exhaust, headers (not so high class) came from base moded it to fit on SH. In other words, it was welded cuz i believe the SH has longer downpipe.

Anyway, code keeps coming back, reseted many times, shows up after few days again. Helms say either exhaust leak or bad primary O2.
1. Should I suspect the O2 sensor even it's new?
2. Should I check the header for air leak?
