I'm gettin a 99 lude with a vtec and i need to know how to make it fast. What do i start with, intake and exhaust or what? Do headers just make ur car louder? Anything u can tell me would be real good!

Couple of options but first you need money.
Option 1, Turbo it.-need I explain more.
Option 2, NA it. i.e. large lift cam, port polish, high compression pistons and a host of other things.

no, a header does not make your car loud, intake and exhasut do. if you already have an exhuast and you put on a header, you're gonna see better gains and you might hear the exhuast to be a bit "smoother"...you might not.

 

one more thing, i think you should start wtih suspension...get coilovers or springs and shocks, then some wheels, and some tires.

 

Hey RAB thanks for the advice, i have some cash, but can u tell me in more detail if that's possible, cuz i know nothin about cars, appreciate it... By the way my vtec has some wierd shift mode called sequential sports shift mode if that means anything to u.

Just some words of advice. Once you start...You can't stop. IT..NEVER..ENDS!

 

its a disease, u'll think about it while u eat, while u sleep, while u ****, damn. Cars will be the only thing u think about....but i love it

 

go suspension...automatic ludes are trash for speed.

but you could just buy boosted's turbo setup..that's some quickness right there.
