ok right now i have a shitty alarm....
i'm thinking about the new compustar that vibrates (open to other suggestions)

but i was also wondeirng if any of you guys do stuff like pull fuses, take some wires off etc...

if so, let me know what i can do to be sure that they dont leave with the car
without over doing it obviously i wont start taking my engine apart because im sleeping over at someones house or whatever...

well tue but at same time not true, a flat bed is very expensive, and if they get cought the flat bed will be seised also and they are very expensive...and the where abouts of where my car would be it is impossible for them to flat bed it away so im not worried about that..

http://www.ravelco.com seems to be really good. They claim like 3.5 million cars and none of em have been stolen?

Best anti-theft I have heard of:

Get nice car.
Find swimming pool deep end.
Drain swimming pool.
Park car in deep end.
Fill to pool to brim with concrete.
Let set.

best anti-theft ever.

Or keep the damn thing in a Garage under lock and key...
Or get a 80's model Chevy 1/4 ton POS and never worry about it getting stolen.
Or Insure the hell out of the one you have. If you have a good chance that it will be stolen then insure it for 50% extra so that when it is stolen you can upgrade to a better car.

haha... nice ideas. Swimming pool
What if I wanna drive my car afterwards?

But in all seriousness, theres ways for thieves to get past any anti-theft devices you get. Your best chance against them is to use a combination of many different ones, increasing the time it takes to steal your car. Hopefully that extra time will deter the thieves to give up or attract some attention.

Well, you can get a fuel pump cutoff switch from that link posted above. Autolock (the one that goes on your brakes), and an alarm. Also read the stuff in the above link on hiding the wiring for your alarm. That should buy you some time at least.

Heres the link again

If it's just overnight security you want, find a mate with the dirtiest bollo**s of a Rottweiller and let him sleep in it overnight.

loosen one of the front wheels so that if it moves, it falls off. Then if they are stupid enough to steal it and drive it away they will get what is coming to them.

If my car goes down it's going to be taking somebody with it

^That will be $20. I take paypal.

Just put a sticky note on your keys

You could also just park it somewhere hot. My car won't even start most of the time when parked outside when it's 90+.
