Default Need Help On Decision

How many of you regret selling your prelude? Im thinkin about selling mine because well it seems to me the universe does not want me to have this car. The previous owner had little to NO problems with it- after i get the title written in my name- everything goes wrong. AC compressor goes out *reason for buying car*, a grind in 2nd gear develops, need new oilpan and gasket due to leak, new axles, new fuel pump and filter, and maybe new fuel injectors. The brakes and suspension are in need of replacement, needs slight bodywork and paint, list goes on. I needed this to be my daily driver and i bought this car and test drove it- it was perfect, smooth ride and all- now it feels so bad, could just be me but even the owner agrees it feels different and ive changed nothing. Should i tough it out and keep putting money into this thing? Or just cut my losses now and get something else. I just need to hear if anybody regrets selling these things- ive grown attached to the BB body style so i dunno. And when done right they are very nice cars but doesn't seem like mine will get there. I do have a nice paying job thats steady so its not like its a main money issue but i guess im just getting used to that whole "you fix one thing, something else breaks" type of deal.

you didnt specifiy what engine you have. if have an S or Si model prelude you could always replace the engine with a JDM H22 which obviously is the best motor for your car and that would take care of alot of the problems your having. you can kinda kill 2 birds with one stone that way. and it might even cost less going that route than fixing all those damn problems.

if the body/interior are in good shape than you may really wanna keep it. i had 2 that i sold including a cherry vtec model and i always regretted it. maybe the universe doesnt want you to have that prelude in its current form, but maybe the universe wants you to drop a nice shiny new H22 in it lol

sorry forgot to state its a 92 prelude si with a h22 swap already- its in the sig but shoulda posted anyways. I dunno im thinking about gettin something direct from dealership, something with warranty. I dont like anyyyy new models that honda has released, the only thing that has somewhat grown on me is the civic coupe. Id love to opt for the si k20 version but i think i might just go with the 1.8 dx/lx/ex version i forgot the cheapest one lmao. I did get a deal on a 03 CTS from cadillac thats 5spd for 10g but i dunno i haven't heard anything good about it

If you like it then fix it...if you don't then sell it.

I would never sell my Prelude.

I just bought a 5th Gen that I feel the same way about. I feel like as soon as I fix one thing another goes wrong, I wish I could get out from under it, although, I kick myself in the butt everyday for selling my swapped 4th gen...
