ok here is the deal.i bought my 94 prelude si about 5 months ago and it did not run because the fuel pump would not come on and it had no fire.well i got the fire and fuel pump issue fixed and now the car will not run just right and it will not charge the battery,the car has a eratic idle (kinda skips) and it will not climb passed 4k the battery will not stay charged.i have had my alternator tested and it checked out fine.the car has had a f22b1 swapped into by the previous owner and they could never get it to run.i am getting frustraited with this car it left me on the side of the road because of this crap.if anybody can help me it would be great!!

 

Its most likly a shot ECU if its not reving past 4k.

 

Could be a bad ground, or a short somewhere in the electrical.

No one can fix your car over the internet if you are not willing to get in there yourself and try stuff....just take it to a shop or something. You have been given advice and you're basically ignoring it.

 

i am sorry guys,it did not show me that there were any post in this thread.there must have been a glitch.i do apoligize and i will see if i can find another ecu.and i didnt expect someoen to fix my car over the internet i simply asked a question looking for help which i thought this forum was for.
