My girlfriend was driving my car and she was going eighty and she said it just lost power. she pulled over and had it towed. i have a ob2 code reader, i hooked it up but it did not throw any codes . help? is it fuel, or maybe internal. it has 61000 on it and i bought it three days earlier. i might need rods and???

 

dude, that is so vague. she could have snaped a half shaft. ran out of gas, a number of things. we need more specifics.

 

has gas, and all fluids are fine. i don't think half shaft broke it was only going down the highway. help

 

did it still rev? did the revs go up high? did it still have throttle response but it was just really shitty? Did the car shut off (there was a recall for 97 ludes with the ignition switch shutting off for no reason and causeing the car to shut off in the middle of highway driveing, turning, pullin gout in traffic, anything, check with your honda dealer to see if that was fixed before you bought it, i just got the letter for it near the end of last year.

still runs but when i start it and hit 3000rpm i hear a knock. it comes from between the firewall and engine and i slowly let the gas off but i was sitting still. when i move it has no power past 3000rpm help

 

does it go past 3000 rpm, or does it stop there like its limited? knock??? i dont know what that is, is it constant after 3k or does it just knock once?
