i have a 97 prelude type sh it is an sport shift and i am having some engine/tranny problems the car has 97000kms on it and i was driving and it wouldn't shift it would rev out and jolt the car and even when i put it into the manual mode it still ******* up..... does anybody know what this could be i do have a 5speed tranny and everything for a 5 speed swap if it would be easier please let me know i was told that there was 3 sensors on the transmission but i just want to double check before i got and spend 500 bucks

You shouldnt need to do a 5spd swap because your 97 SH should be 5spd. There is no such thing as an auto SH.

 

either you got screwed on buying the car or you just don't know what you have.

yeah i would either get another tranny or get a swap. but from the looks of it, you shouldn't get a swap or at least attempt it yourself. get someone who actually knows about the swap.

 

well its a 97 and it has atts fuses?? atts= sh does it not

 

Well in the USA all SHs are 5spd. Maybe outside the US they are not?
