Default Need Electrical Help

I hooked up a cable for my ipod to my alpine deck last week. Haven't really driven much since then. Went out last night and a low beam headlight went out, its a one year old silverstar. Stopped somewhere on the way home and when I left the other low beam died withing 15 seconds after starting the car, also one year old silverstar. Got home on my brights. Check this morning and one of the brights is now out, those are regular sylvania.

I checked the battery, it is good and new. Checked grounding points, those are good. I'm getting 14.44 volts at the headlights. What else should I do? I'm not really good with the diagrams in the manual. Thank you.

yeah, good point. can someone check what their output is at the headlight? i just put a voltmeter on the lightbulb, you don't even have to disconnect it.

So I pulled out the Ipod cable, unplugged radar detector. Put in new low beams. Now with low beams turned on, I have passenger low beam barely on, passenger high beam barely on, driver high beam barely on, and driver low beam fully on. With high beams selected on, I have only driver low and high beams illuminated. Any suggestions gentlemen? Otherwise I'm going to the dealer tomorrow as I must travel for work this week.

I was had by a thorny stick that found its way to a headlight wire, thus shorting and causing an arc according to the mechanic at honda.
