hey i got a jdm 95 h22a and i need a usdm map sensor to pass the BAR test, so anyone know if the sensor have to be from the stock or another sensor from a 95 usdm prelude would work? and if it does, do you know where i can order them? i live in anaheim, Ca thanks alot

i thought u got one for 260-350 already.....? didnt you post that in the other thread.

anyways ... try a junk yard. you live in so cal so there are lots of junk yards around. if not then go to the dealer.... its like $50 if i remember correctly.

EDIT - the TPS was $50.... not sure what MAP is at dealer. your best bet would be a junk yard.

 

oh no, i post that cuz i went to check out the price earlier today, i dun wanna pay 250 for brand new one, plus i juss wanna noe if it gonna work wit any usdm map sensor, junk yard cost 45 buck but they make me look for the number on the sensor which i have no clue how to get it, my mechanic say any map sensor on the firewall should work fine, but the junk yard guy say he need the number, so iono wat i need to do, if you noe that would be great

 

im not sure what number your talking about.

just tell him you need a 92-96 honda prelude vtec map sensor.

when i go to the junk yard and asked for a map they didnt tell me i needed a number. i just told him i needed a h22 map.

 

o hahaha dats wat i did and he juss give me the same answer, i need the serial number, but i'll try dfferent place, thanks
