Default MAP Sensor getting wet?

Mostly in rainfall I sometimes get a code 3 (MAP sensor) and my car runs like ****. I was wondering if my map sensor got wet, could this cause it to mess up?

If all else fails I guess I will try to cover it up next time I drive in the rain and see if there is a difference. Any Ideas as to why this could be happening?
Thanks

when u plug the map sensor into the harness it is protected from **** because that connection u make by plugging it in is watertight....so water shouldnt be getting into the sensor itself...maybe u have a crack in the plastic sensor casing??
didnt thnk i explained that verywell, hope u understand
good luck

when was march 31st? I don't think I was throwing that code night, but who knows...I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas like runing really rich, or a vaccuum leak that could cause, or **** off the MAP sensor.

Sorry, I don't mean to be a thread *****, but could a bad map sensor cause a surging idle if there aren't any vacuum leaks or anything? Also, what bar map sensors come stock on the h22's? Sorry again about being a thread *****
