LSD & Final Drive Conversion
I searched but couldn't find any relevant info...
My question is:
Can i install the SiR spec LSD & 4.266 Final Drive into my H22A4 transmission
(Final Drive 4.062) & what are the implications/other parts involved?
Thanks

I got all the JDM SiR part numbers & just needed to know wether it'll be easiest to change the necessities or the entire box...

Are you sure about that FD ratio? What is the transmission code?
As for changing the diff and the final drive ratio, you'll have to do a few things. New diff bearings, set the diff preload, swap the final drive gear rings, disassemble the entire countershaft, install all gears and synchro sets on new countershaft. Fortunately, you don't have to set the end play like you do on the mainshaft.
