lsd?
Ok so I want a little more power out of my accord so I want to get a H22/23.
Im a noob to the h's so im not 100% sure yet. But I know im gonna want a
lsd in my tranny.
A few qestions about it.
Which tranny is build more tough? the h or f series.
Then which lsd would be better for daily driving, street racing,
good cornering, sometimes the strip. But pretty much a daily driver.
I was thinking of either a obx lsd or a stock one. The stock ones
ive seen go for about 2-3 hundred and the obx go for about 4-5
hundred.
And are the h and f series clutch's the same.
and are they the same in the length.

If you get an H22 get the tranny from an H22, they did come with a stock LSD in japan so you can most likely get that tranny and not have to toy with OBX. The h22 tranny has a better gear ratio than an F series tranny. OBX is a cheap *** pos knockoff of the qualife. If you dont pull the thing apart and torque every bolt to spec you will most likely blow it up in your tranny. OBX = flaming pile of cheap poo.
out of all the h series motors theres only one that came with a stock lsd.
But on ebay i did find an original lsd for only 250 bucks. But not having to
much experience with then I cant tell if its still any good, and if im getting
ripped of at at all.

check out Hmotorsonline.com they can fix you up with a swap and they are very reputable. They offer LSD trannies with any of their swaps. Lots of members use em for their swaps.

If I'm not mistaken:
-F-series tranny's are geared longer than H
-depending on if you want to boost the motor/keep it N/A really determines what tranny you should get. For an N/A car stick with the H22A trans (M2B4 I believe?), it's geared alot shorter so you can take advantage of the power. For a boosted car get something with longer gears. Honestly I haven't looked into transmissions or LSD's but hopefully I was of some sort of help.
