Default lowering

what is a fairly inexpensive set-uo to lower the ride height of a 5th gen? basically to cover up the wheel gap, without comprimising too much ride quality..

springs. get a nice set of springs like some eibach prokit or something. Its a little bit stiffer than stock and leaves about a 2 finger gap all the way around.

Id reccomend teins as i normally do to most who ask this question. Ride will be a little stiffer, but nothing severe.

if you want good ride quality, you're going to have to get new shocks along with those springs.

or if you like underdamped harmonic motions while you're driving, don't get shocks just don't try to drink coffee while you're driving.

You should be fine. Clearance should be good even with 18's. Good luck
