I have a 92 prelude s that has power windows but not power locks. when u go to unlock it from the inside the things are loose and dont work so u have to use the key from the out side to unlock it. I was wondering if this is a common problem or not. Also how do u fix it? Am i going to have to go to a shop to do it and if so have any idea how much it will be?

 

I would pull the door panel and see if they are connected. It sounds like maybe the plastic ends broke and or popped off. It isn't that difficult to do so you should be able to do it yourself. It just takes a while and so you have to be patient so you don't break anything. If you do strip some of the connector pieces you can get new ones at almost any auto parts store.
