I have a 93 honda prelude si with a 95 JDM H22a (Engine, tranny, and ecu) and the knock sensor on it had broken so i bought a new one. Well i put the new one on and it is still throwing a code 23. i tryed un hooking the battery for a minute and then plugging it back up but that didnt work. What could the problem be? If you know what could possibly be wrong please help me.

 

Make sure you've got the right connector. IIRC, it may be able to fit in another sensor. It has one wire, right?

 

Yep i think its Red/Blue , check for continuity between the Ks harness connector and Ecu pin D3 , there could be an open wire.
