Default Which kit is this?

I was looking through one of my books and came accross this picture, but the description doesnt relay much information. So i was hoping one of you guys could tell me which kit this is. The Description says is GReddy but i looked and looked and looked but to no avail, i just cant find it. I'm looking for something really simple like this setup.

Any help would be really appreciatted.

Ok, i figured it out. But that kit is kinda expensive for my taste so i've already pieced me a kit together with basically the same setup but without the bigger injectors or the E-Manage. I was curious to know what rate FMU should i get. I've seen it done on a few preludes around here. But they either wont talk to me about it or just dont know. Should i go with a 6:1, 10:1, or a 12:1 ratio? All available from Vortech.

Here is my setup/requirements:
1. 97 Prelude Base with STOCK motor
2. Simple t3/t4 .57 trim turbo w/cast manifold(no intercooler, internally wastegated)
3. Keeping A/C and P/S
4. Daily Driver for two people(close to 80 miles a day, track maybe once a month)
5. Will NEVER go higher then 7 PSI
6. 2.5" Cat-Back exhaust(2.5" Downpipe)

Let me know guys, no-one here in Jacksonville will tell me anything without charging me by the hour( )

you are going to lose a lot of power without a intercooler. you are also going to run a lot hotter with the risk of overheating.

i know you dont want to but i would suggest swapping out the pistons for some mahle gold at the very least. maybe some forged rods as well. the stock ringlands hate boost and will probably give way very shortly

You want to boost your car but you don't want to spend any money? Doesn't sound like a good idea.... I would not run an FMU, stock injectors, a cheap turbo, or especially boost a car without any way to tune it.

Is it just me or does the article say "in this case a GReddy kit on a Honda Prelude" ?

To the OP, time to do some more research in the official turbo prelude thread.

To the person replying(adrenalin), if you'll read ALL of it, it says i did look but couldn't find the exact kit. I found many diff kits but not the one pictured. then i found it later on with more research. read buddy, read...

onto another reply, i dont wanna spend lots of money going with bigger injectors then some kind of fuel management. It's a 97 prelude base H22 Automatic.I've got alot of people telling me to backdate to a p28 ecu with chrome or uberdata, but dont i have to backdate the distributor as well? Thats why i wanted to go FMU(roughly $140) versus the recommended custom tuned ecu(roughly $250-350 without tuner fee).

cheaper isnt better...in fact, it's worse.

$500 more now is a lot better than a blown engine later. also, you dont have to change the distributor when you go to the P28. your tuning program can take timing out...read up man really. we all want to see you have a safe/fast ride. take the advise. do a search on FMU's in the Forced Induction forum and see what it turns up.

Have you even tried to do any research? FMU is garbage and trying to boost a car without money DOES NOT WORK! If you have a problem spending a couple hundred dollars more do not try to boost your car. Save the money for oil changes and basic maintenance, because you will need it (and you will need more to maintain a boosted car).

alright, alright, alright, i'm tired of the "your a cheap-***" bashing. so i'm gonna step up and not go the FMU route. So with the specs up above, chrome-tuned p28 or GReddy E-Manage? i can get the conversion harness and p28(already socketed) shipped for about $240 and the GReddy E-Manage and harness shipped for roughly $255. i got someone who knows how to tune on chrome an will do it for free but i have not a clue ow to work the E-Manage or how much it will be for tuning. I'm not goin super cheap but im not dropping 3k on a simple turbo setup that is gonna be redone in less then a year.

Then I would just save up, research, and wait... Just do it right the first time, no sense in wasting time and money.
