Just a quick question - PLEASE help!
I'm looking to get some work done on my prelude and I want to find a shop that will give me a good price on the labor. I'm just looking for a rough estimate on how many hours this work will take and how much I can expect to pay for labor.
It's a 2000 prelude SH
4 new wheels/tires , alignment and balancing -tires are already on the rims
Replace front stabilizer bar links
Install aftermarket head/tail/fog lights
Install cold air intake
Install sound system - just sub and amp from previous car, head unit is already installed.
Thanks guys.

First of all, you should be doing most of this work yourself.
Install 4 wheels that already have tires? You're talking about jacking up the car and removing 5 lug nuts. Why wouldn't you do that yourself?
Install head/tail/fog lights? Each one of these takes less than 30 minutes to do. The most complex part is removing the front bumper, which only takes 10 minutes.
Install CAI? Another job that takes less than 30 minutes.
Install sound system? That can be tricky, but you can do the majority of the work yourself. Pull the seats, pull the carpet, run your RCAs and power wire. Then just have someone do the connections for you, if you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself.
Why are you against any of this?

Not a ton of shops do mechanical work and sound well. Depends on where you live I guess. If you are in LA, NY, or Denver that probably isn't the case. I live in Iowa....so I would probably have the Stereo work done at a Sound specialist place if I were you. Personally, I would have ordered my stuff from Crutchfield and installed it myself...they help make stereo, sub, etc. installation EASY. If you have questions you call them up.
Then I would find a shop for the mechanical work. Think you would probably end up with better results and maybe smaller bills overall.

just do it yourself, real easy. sound could be tricky if u do not know electronics. as for sway bar links, those are a piece of cake. jack up the car(front wheels off the ground). u now have access the sway bar links. self explanatory(two bolts to remove). go buy moog sway bar link kit. best quailty and regreasable. $77 for one side but they will last forever.
