Default Intake Manifold

I just bought the obx racing Intake Manifold for the h23a. I was wondering if anyone has installed it before. How it effected emissions and power gains?
Thanks

If you can even get it to fit (obx kinda sucks) it wont give you much power

Sometimes you dont need to burn your hand to know that the burner is hot. $5 says he doesnt have near enough mods to warrant an IM

Yikes, that OBX manifold won't do crap unless you're running a high amount of boost. Looks like you don't even have a turbo setup...

your "build" looks like your on a really tight budget.....
choosing the cheapest parts you can get
you get what you pay for.

OBX products are copies of other products, in this case probably the Venom intake manifold..

In your situation you will probably gain very little, and all in the upper RPMS, but it was cheap anyways.. and if you ever get some serious mods then you will have it there to support you..

Do you have it on the car? I wouldn't mind going with that intake manifold on my turbo setup..

If you decide to sell it for some reason, send me an email garn@rbnet.com..

lot of people post that they loose power when putting an IM on.. your build is more than likely not sufficient to get an gains out of it.

yeah I asked this awhile ago about an upgrade for the h23 IM and everyone said to port it. what's the reason(s) that an obx/venom intake manifold is only good for huge amounts of boost?

Super huge plenum and very short runners

EDIT: This is kind of a very simple/stupid way to put it, but that IM's inherent design qualities show that it was simply designed for air to be forced through it not sucked in through it
