ok, so I'm new to the forums and I'm new to Hondas. I have a 92 Honda prelude and I love it. I recently went thru inspection and failed due to no catalytic converter and smoke from the tail pipe. if I put the catalytic converter on, will that make the smoke go away? please let me know! thanks

 

There are so many other possible causes man it's so hard to say if that alone is the issue. Have you ever had your oil analyzed? What's your car's history?

 

Well, one reason you failed is due to a missing cat converter. Install one and then go from there.
