Probably a better flow, Less disturbance I would think would mean greater gains as well.
but also, more air means more fuel.. so..

Bless you, damn that was informative.

Now, as a related question: if the Skunk2 manifold ever actually does become available (I e-mailed them twice, once in Aug and once 3 weeks ago, and both times someone named Jennifer answered and said it was still in R&D(?), will it have a large or small plenum? The reason I'm asking is because that will dictate what size throttle body I should get (62-64-66 or 70 mm). Any opinions/info will be greatly appreciated (and will save me a lot of scratch).

Does anyone know if there is any difference between the 92-96 VTEC manifold vs the 97+ VTEC manifold? I'm considering purchasing a used ITR TB to get it ported out and a used 93 VTEC manifold to port that out for use on my 98 SH.

The 62 mm Lude Type S TB is available damn near everywhere, including: http://www.modacar.com/products/Honda/Prelude/MODATHB/
King will bore your stock TB to 64 mm. http://www.kingmotorsports.com/products/king/ If you buy the Type S and send it to King, they'll bore it to 66, but to me that's too friggin' expensive.
The Erick's Racing TB is 68 mm. http://www.ericksracing.com/throttlebody.htm
The 70 mm was at inlinefour.com. http://store.yahoo.com/twincamtech/70bigborbilt.html.

the manifold will be out shortly. Look for it within the next couple of weeks. I saw it yesterday at the sema show. Looks pretty nice.
