Default Imagine Engineering header....

Will this header fit a prelude chasis? What gives if not? The front motor mount? Suposed to be a really good header. Thanks

no it wont fit a prelude chassis, it comes out too far, it will hit the radiator and condenser and all that...

besides it hasnt been made for years, i doubt you will ever find one now...but it did make some good hp back in the day....

What if you do a half core radiator swap?

that would work. But since the inception of the Imagine header, there have been others that work just as well (if not better) without requiring radiator jury-rigging. You can probably find them for about $300 used, too. Or $300 new if you want cheap ****...

the smsp and rmf are of course better headers....the imagine is a lot like the smsp in its design....

you probably could achieve similar results to the imagine with a greddy/2.5 collector or possibly a an-r/prospeed header....

i had the prospeed....its was nice at the top end....but gave me no low end.....im on a ebay one right now....lol....tons of low...but no mid and high.....so just wondering.....

I looked at the car....my ac lines would hit the imagine header.....but for someone without ac, and used a slimline fan....i think it would work, with modification to the collector to mate with the exhaust
