hey does anyone knows why i get this idling problem and the engine starts to shake?? I notice my valves are tapping louder and louder. Is that the reason my car is idling and is adjustin valves different becuz it's a vtec? Thanks

 

yeah you might need a valve adjustment, and it could also be mis firing...check engine light on? pull out the valve cover and check for play in the rocker arms. and get the valves adjusted anyways.

I have no idea is that...

I had no engine light on..so if valve clearance are off it means could be mis firing?? thanks

 

Start by doing a valve adjustment. Read this link https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=618786and do it yourself or take it to shop and have them do it. That should be your first step.

VTEC doesn't do anything until you rev the engine much higher...
