ok. i had my JDM H22 in my old lude (92 S) and it ran wonderfully. on my second lude (92 Si) the H23 ran fine but the idle was garbage wen it was cold (up and down from 700-2000 rpm) and also did it periodically whether it was warmed up or cold. i figured it was the engine. i just finished putting in my JDM H22 and upon firing her up she did the same **** the old engine did! anyone have this problem?? elcetrical, vacuum,....what!? i noticed the old lude did not have an <U>intake control solenoid valve </U> and the new one does but it cannot be hooked up with a cold air intake. is this the problem? wat did u guys do with ur ICSV? also (you'll find this in another post of mine) i used the TB from the H23 on the H22 cuz i broke the TPS. maybe that TB is the problem so i'll try to switch the TPS and swap them and see if that fixes it. lemme know wat u guys think! thanx

do you mean mean the iacv (idle air control valve)? if so, take it off and clean it. but if its just broken, i got like 2 of them for sale.

 

no not the iacv. the intake control solenoid valve is a little black box thats mounted on top of the tranny mount. it has one electrical connector and a vacuum line that goes to where the stock airbox would be then another vacuum line that goes to the back of the intake manifold. i'm lookin at it rite now in my helms, i wish i could show all u guys. if u have a helms for a 92 lude it's on page 11-8
