Evening all,

I am in the midst of troubleshooting a idle issue. In the Helms as you work through one of the steps it says to unplug the IACV, I think as you are setting the base idle, it says you will get a DTC code. I get neither the code or a CEL. Anybody else have knowledge of this and why no code or light?

It should have thrown a code. Try unplugging your map or tps sensor to make sure your check engine light bulb is not burnt out. Or you can jump your blue service connector down on the passengers side with a paper clip and see if your CEL light comes on.

 

Bulb is fine. Works like a charm. No CEL or code when IACV is pulled.

Any other ideas?
