anyone know how to remove a 99 prelude SH shiftknob they have the ones that are for the Si's too i cant take the ugly thing off its pissin me off

 

You have to push down where the boot connects to the shift ****. Once you do that then the **** just un-screws.

 

also if you want to get rid of that plastic thing around the shift boot, take out the console and flip the shift boot inside out, there is a black rubber band type thing thats holding it in place. just take it off and slide it out, fold the material back down and tighten the rubber band, or get some zip tie, so its just wrapped around the shift arm a bit more securely


its not rocket science
