How do you fix a synchro on a 93 prelude vtec???

 

are you asking the actual process with the tranny out and disassembled? or are you wanting to know the entire thing and how easy/hard it is?

basically you need to drop the tranny, then separate the 2 housings and replace the pieces

 

You replace it. There are no repairs for a failed synchro. You can try a temporary fix using GM/Pennzoil Synchromesh fluid-but that will be a band-aid.

How long is temporary with Sychromesh?

 

Depends on how long it was being drove on with the bad Syncro.... Just a little wile you can add the GM Syncromesh and it will feel like new... But if it has been drove on for a wile... Then it is a toss up... Can not hurt to try.. 2 Bottles are $20.
