Default Help for a V-tech Con. install

I just bought a Apex'i V-Tech controller and I heard around that it's not all that easy to just plug and play. Can anyone share some light and tell me what I need for it to run proper?

right, VTEC. I was told I need and OBD1 for it to do some work, but I want to know if it's worth while to put it in or not.

what year is your prelude? do you plan to dyno it and get the real power that it's supposed to put out or do you just wanna adjust your VTEC? are you electronically impared? All are factors that would determine if it's worth it to you or not. If you have to ask how to install it, you would probably need a shop to do it for you

I do intend on getting some real power. Just wanted to see what others thought. Sorry I'm not an electrician or tech whiz like you.
