Shot in the dark is that the crank position sensor is dead. You will get more help from people if you offer more information.

Just remember, always check the simplest thing first. What gives the spark plugs spark? either the coils or the distributor. What gives the coils or distributor spark? The ignitor pack.

Don't over-think your issues.

Okay. theres what going on We have 40 psi of fuel. we HAD Spark.. dont anymore dont know why we've replaced Cap roter. Ignitor wiring harness Computer. checked all the relays all fuses. we have 160- 180 of compression. when we had spark the only way we could start it. was By choking the engine and it would start then it would run but it wouldnt run very good, if you floored it it would Die then back fire thru the intake and at around 5500 to 6000 rpm. it would start back firing thru the intake, where completely stumped.. and its starting to get really ANNOYing so if anyone know anything please help me! lol please!

when did this start happening? out of the blue?

Has any work been done recently?

If your having spark, you have compression, and you have fuel, than the only thing left is proper timing!

My first guess is a ground some where. Hows the tranny ground?

So anyway though your fuel injectors arn't spraying fuel you mean?

Sounds like you got more than one issue? Have you jumpered your service connector pin to pull up CELs?

yeah i have i only get code for TPS. which i replaced i dont know why its still there and yes the fuel is not sparying sorry, and ive never messed with the timing so i dont know how the timing would get out of wack and you can sit there turning it over and there'll be no fuel coming out of the injectors at all not even a drop..

Sounds like timing to me. Clock the cap 180 degrees. Are the F22 interference motors? Check your grounds. For ****-n-giggles, check your coolant temp sensor. Check the connections and the harness on the ignitor. Are your plugs fouling?

tranny ground goes down by your slave cylinder (clutch system). It starts at the negative (black) wire on your battery and sneaks down and onto the bottom front of your tranny.

Your fuel injectors arn't spraying fuel? Pull your plugs and smell them after you tried cranking the car

I'd apply trigger voltage to the injectors manually and see if you can get them to squirt. If you can than I'd say the ground for your injectors is not secure.

What it does is takes the higher voltage signal from the ECU and drops the voltage to operate the lower voltage injectors.

Check the ground for the resistor pack. Check the wiring from the resistor to the injectors.

Not very, but how many times have you heard of a car doing what your's is doing? There's no hurt in trying anything. I'm just making educated guesses. Thinking about previous stumps.

YES! The wire that bolts to the thermostat housing is the ECU ground! You will have to have a good connection there for the ECU to do anything. I'd ground the other one too...

I have never heard of a Black w/Red being a ground, but the black definitely a ground. Ground it. As for the black w/red hook it up to where it looks like it belongs. I know of a site that has the wiring diagrams for all cars. Let me see if I can find it and I'll post a link.
